Make sure to wear a respirator (unlike me).
This is how I painted my fence with a spray gun. Oil based paint. Pine fence. I primed it first with an oil based primer. This is where I got the gun:

Did you need more than one coat?
did you use thinner for the gun not to clogg? thanx for reply
saw the last part. was the paint diluted in thinner?
priming wood? 😀 u have no idea what u doing…
dude , everything was going well and looking goof . but you have to care of your lung while you spraying .. the paint that you spay is very toxic specially in your lung . It doesn’t matter where are you in . happy sprain dude.!!
If the compressor is running continuously during the spray job, without cutting out as it reaches the set pressure occasionally, it means the capacity of the compressor is exceeded or right on the limit. If that is the case, you should stop every 10-15 minutes spraying or so and let the compressor cool down for at least the same time. Otherwise it is being used beyond it’s duty cycle and it will fail prematurely.
Of course that may be of no consequence to you if you regard it as expendable against what you paid for it, but I thought it worth mentioning.
word, bro. nice video
Good Job bro. Im start next week to paint my wood fence
Tips for you..
1. Spray continuously from top to bottom.
2. Don’t stop the spryer until you are off the edges.
If your wood is rough sawn then this would be a c$*p load faster
NO MASK?
YOU’LL BE COUGHING FOR 5 MONTHS!
Not bad did you have to thin it?
Why is there very less coverage on the sprayer?
Looking into hvlp to do a couple gates but got discouraged because of the high cfm requirements, anyone know a work around so i dont kill my 6 gallon compressor
you know you could use a mask and some protection glasses, right?
1. You need a water separator
2. thin the paint just a little more
I would use pressure pot, so that the air compressor don’t have to work so hard. good job !
BEST AND FAST WAY TO CLEAN YOUR SPRAY GUN !!! Put Paint Thinner in the Spray itself, then Spray it onto a Cardboard like you are Painting it. This will help you clean your Spray gun FASTER and also helps to unclogged any Paint that is stuck in there too :)))))))). Also, Harbor Freight have a CHEAP Spray Gun that is CHEAP and works really well. It’s 15 bucks on sale and if you do one job and clogged, throw it out and get a new one, LOL. I don’t like Harbor Freight but funny thing is the CHEAP spray gun actually works really well and you can THROW it out, LMAO. Cost more to clean it and cost more to buy Rollers and Paint brushes, etc… and your time cleaning.. LMAO
How are you ?

By no means are you not a professional…. so you are a professional?
I check a lot of woodworking handbooks. These one from WoodPrix are the best.
Hey young guy you should take pride in the fence . Do a good job . Where PPE at all times especially facemask live long and prosper . Oil Oil base no good for you Even outside . Carry-on good job
a PS I gauge to your gun Will tell you to volume of air when you squeeze the trigger set your compressor to the psi on your gun work much better .
Nice video. Thanks for posting. Seems everyone is an expert in their remarks yet no one else has posted up a video. Lol. Good on you tho.
What color of stain pant is this one
with the compressor constantly running it would burn up the motor
Hey I think you’re a good painter anybody who has the nuts I wanted to use a different word but to go out and get a spray air compressor and use it and research and do what you’re doing to me that makes you a good painter now cutting in and all that stuff you know that all comes with time but the fact that you are taking the step to actually use a sprayer compared to a brush in a roller means that you are above-average so I wouldn’t downplay yourself you can do it a terrific job I’m a professional painter over 30 years and you’ll be surprised how many people are scared of using a sprayer so kudos to you my friend keep up the good work
